"My Pillars" is a surrealist work that brings together the spaces that shaped my development as an artist. The two windows in the background represent the Humacao Fine Arts Center (above) and La Casona (below), places where I had the opportunity to exhibit my art. The Ionic column is inspired by the building of "Lito" Peña, another space that supported me on my creative journey. The fish and flowers come from the Casa Roig Museum, where I took my first art classes. These elements were in the fish tank at its entrance, and I included them as a symbol of my beginnings. The fish swim freely across the entire scene, integrating each element as a whole. This work is my way of honoring the spaces that formed me. My wish is that it also connects you with the pillars of your own story.
